Kicking Off Your 30-Day Project
Once you've partnered with Velocity Resource Group, you will be assigned a client manager who will assist you with every step during your 30-day recruitment campaign.
The Intake Call
The "Intake Call" will kick off the 30-day campaign.
During this conversation your Client Manager will:
- Review the job description and formulate the best approach for success.
- Work with you to define the parameters of the role and the project overall. (Parameters may include things like search radius and target companies for sourcing passive candidates).
- Design a customized pre-screening questionnaire for candidate qualification.
- Walk you through the next steps of the project and schedule the first calibration call.
- Follow up with a post-call email that summarizes the Intake conversation and provides a service level understanding.


Project Calibration & Weekly Check-Ins
The first calibration call will take place within 24-48 hours of project kick off. Your client manager will:
- Review the first set of sourced candidates and request feedback and insight in order to improve further sourcing efforts.
- Provide you with a login/password for your RESflex Candidate Manager account.
- Provide a demonstration of RESflex CMS capabilities
- Schedule the next weekly check-in call.
Over the course of the project, you and your Client Manager will check-in regularly to discuss new candidates and any sourcing/pre-screening changes that may be needed. The Client Manager will:
- Provide feedback and market intelligence they receive from Velocity's Recruiting Specialist and contacted candidates.
- Schedule the next weekly check-in call or a project wrap-up session near the end of the 30-day time period.
Email Notifications
After the calibration call and RESflex demonstration, you will receive email notifications for the following:
- When new candidate profiles are available for review.
The RESflex Candidate Manager will send out email notifications as new candidate resumes are loaded into the system. You'll be able to see up-to-date candidate information and where they are in the qualification and pre-screening process.
- When qualified candidates have indicated interest in the role.
Once active and passive candidates are qualified by a pre-screen and have expressed interest in your role, you will receive an email notification that indicates you are ready to move on to the next steps (reach out, schedule interviews, negotiate).

How do I kick-off a project?
- Get approval from your Team Lead to start a new job(s).
- Reach out to a rep from your Velocity Team to schedule an Intake Call.
- Include job description(s) or links to the job postings in your request email.
How do I maximize the Intake Call?
- The quality of your Intake Call is essential to a successful search. Maximize your Intake Calls by being prepared and honest about your expectations for the project. Please make sure to have all necessary information ready (See "Kicking Off Your 30 Day Project" for more).
When should I start reaching out to candidates?
As soon as a candidate is marked Interested!
This means that the Velocity team has pre-screened the candidate and confirmed the best way to reach them. We recommend reaching out within 24 hours of being marked Interested for the best results.
